Meditation during natural body detoxification

Detox
Natural body detoxification (detox for short) is one of the natural ways to cleanse your body using a treatment which aims to rid the body of toxins that have undesirable short-term and long-term effects on an individual’s health.
At Anahata Healing Arts Ayurvedic detox centre, we focus our donation based detox retreats on ancient Aryuvedic traditions and medicines based on thousands of years of fact-based recipes for a natural cleanse of your body.
We use only the freshest seasonal produce organically grown on our farm for a pure, natural body detoxification to cleanse your body, mind and soul, flushing out unwanted toxins absorbed through the grind of a stressful life and eating choices due to lack of time.
We turn the produce into delicious foods to prepare your body for the cleansing before continuing with a juice therapy. Emotions and feelings can surface during this period and it is most recommended to be with yourself to truly experience the detoxification of the mind.
Our farm is open for you to not only reconnect with your inner self, but also reconnect you with nature. You can work at the farm, rest, meditate, disconnect from online chatter and recalibrate your mind, body and soul.
During our therapy, we ask that you try to refrain from asking questions. Our philosophy is simply to accept what is given and trust the process you are being directed towards. Less questions means less chatter for your mind in this overly cluttered world we live in.
By learning to accept, you also learn to accept many aspects of your own life once you get back to the 'real' world.
Yoga
Yoga means 'union', that which brings you to reality. The practice of yoga has been around for at least 5,000 years, long before religion became the main practice across humanity. Yoga's goal is for you - the practitioner - to reach full liberation.
At Anahata Healing Arts Centre, our centre practices and leads you through a basic form of Hatha yoga which allows you to experience the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Hatha yoga balances the mind, body and breath, to reconnect with your inner self, and to attain oneness with your consciousness. It prepares the mind and body for higher levels of energy and possibilities. We lead our Hatha practice in the yoga retreat centre at a beginner level so as not to exert the body too much, especially for those partaking in our natural body detoxification program.
Our centre has a shala located among our farm's organic banana grove, overlooking Lake Ravandur and facing east, to welcome the rising the sun as it bathes you and the farm’s fields with its warmth and majestical splendour. It clears up the mist accumulated in the night, just as the body accumulates toxins.
During your yoga retreat, you can participate in cooking classes or get a therapeutic and rejuvenating massage.
Our philosophy is that every human deserves – and has – the right to heal. Therefore, all our healing programs on offer are donation based, making it one of the most affordable wellness retreats in India.
Aqua Yoga
Water is not just a life-giving liquid, it also carries its own vibrations and energy. Water is a medium of healing, and one of Anahata's donation based wellness retreats include aqua yoga.
For individuals that have difficulty with movement due to age, disability, or other health and balance issues, aqua yoga provides a safe way for them to exercise their muscles without fear of injury.
During aqua yoga, the individual receives light support while being guided through simple exercises to move and strengthen their joints and muscles. The water cushions and protects the person and also helps their sense of gravity thereby enabling them to let go of any fear or anxiety they may otherwise feel and focus on getting themselves back to health.
Meditation
The natural and serene surroundings at Anahata are ideal for you to practise your meditation. The shala or in fact, any space on the farm provide a zen space for you to reconnect with yourself and calm your mind. You can avail of the gentle pranayama techniques taught at Anahata to deepen concentration during your meditation practice. If you’ve never practised meditation before, we’re happy to offer guidance and techniques to get you started with your practice. This is especially beneficial during one of our natural body detoxification programs as it allows you to go deeper within.
